⏱️ Block 60 to 90 minutes on the same day every week. Work top to bottom and tick as you go; untick everything when you are done, ready for next week.

Get clear
- [ ] Collect loose papers, receipts and notes into Inbox.
- [ ] Empty your head: write every open loop into Inbox, without filtering.
- [ ] Process Inbox to zero. Each item becomes a Next Action, a Project plus its first next action, a Waiting For, a Someday/Maybe, or is deleted.
- [ ] Sweep email, chat and phone notes into Inbox and process those too.
Get current
- [ ] Review Next Actions: tick what is done, delete what is dead, and check every action is verb-first with a context.
- [ ] Review last week's calendar for follow-ups you still owe.
- [ ] Review the next two weeks' calendar for anything to prepare.
- [ ] Review Projects: is each still moving, and does every active project have at least one next action?
- [ ] Review Waiting For: chase anything older than two weeks; record what has arrived.
Get creative
- [ ] Review Someday/Maybe: activate it, keep incubating, or let it go.
- [ ] Any new ideas, projects or bolder moves? Capture them now.
Run it with an AI assistant
With GTD Brain connected, your assistant runs the same three phases over your board — reading every list and asking you list by list, so nothing is skipped. Paste this into ChatGPT, Claude or Notion AI:
Run my GTD weekly review with me in three phases, reading every list from GTD Brain and never from memory. Get clear: go through my Inbox card by card and help me clarify each one. Get current: walk my Projects and Next Actions, flag any project with no next action, then my Waiting For list and flag what has gone stale. Get creative: go through Someday/Maybe and ask me, for each, to activate it, keep it, or let it go. One list at a time, wait for my answers, and end with a short summary of what changed.
